Choreographer Trisha Brown has died on March 18th in San Antonio, Texas, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her son, Adam Brown, his wife Erin, her four grandchildren – and by her brother Gordon Brown and sister Louisa Brown. Trisha Brown's husband, artist Burt Barr, died on November 7, 2016.

2017 marks the 6th Anniversary of PoetryLife weekend, bringing together nationally recognized poets, students, teachers, and community members all in one place to celebrate the art of the written word. Events will take place in FST's Bowne's Lab and Keating Theatre. Special guest poets Edward Hirsh and Aimee Nezhukumatathil will be participating in this year's PoetryLife Weekend.
