The Drama League has launched its 2017 Spring Charity Auction, featuring more than 20 once-in-a-lifetime prize packages.

On April 26, 2013, PBS' Live From Lincoln Center presented the New York Philharmonic's production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's iconic American musical, CAROUSEL, featuring a star-studded cast including Kelli O'Hara, Nathan Gunn, Stephanie Blythe, Shuler Hensley, Jason Danieley, and Jessie Mueller. A DVD of the performance is available on Amazon today, February 28, 2017.

Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, has announced the lineup for its 2017-2018 season with four premieres including one play and four musicals.

Encores! Artistic Director Jack Viertel today announced casting for the Encores! production of The New Yorkers, Cole Porter's 1930 Prohibition lark. Aimee Todoroff and Tonya Pinkins direct. The evening of one-act works include Trifles by Susan Glaspell (1916), Exit: An Illusion by Marita Bonner (1929), and The People by Susan Glaspell (1918). Performances will be staged at the Gloria Maddox Theatre, 151 West 26th Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 from February 15-March 5, 2017.

Jones, James Dean Palmer, Jesca Prudencio, and Shaun Patrick Tubbs.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, swept the First Annual Berkshire Theatre Awards last night, winning 20 out of possible 25 awards. Winners of the awards-nicknamed "The Berkies"-were first announced on Monday, October 17, 2016, and awards were presented Sunday, November 13 at a ceremony held at Mr. Finn's Cabaret (36 Linden St) in Pittsfield, MA.

It was appropriate that two-time Tony Award winner William Finn was present at The First Annual Berkshire Theatre Award ceremony held in Pittsfield MA. on  Sunday November 13th. Mr. Finn won a Tony for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee which was home grown up in The Berkshires at Barrington Stage Company. Although he didn't have any work in contention for the prestigious award, Finn did accept a few 'Berkies' for some artists who could not receive their awards in person.
