Teatro La Tea and Clout in the Mug Productions are proud to present Dolores and North of Providence, two searing one-act plays by Edward Allan Baker . The production opens on January 26, 2011 and will run through February 12, 2011. Performances will be held at Teatro La Tea, 107 Suffolk Street in New York City. Showtimes are Wednesday - Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $18.00 and are available at www.smarttix.com, by phone (212) 868-4444. Student tickets are available for $12.00 with I.D.
Kennedy Center's BARRIO GRRRL! Kicks Off National Tour

The Kennedy Center production of Barrio Grrrl! begins a national tour on Saturday, January 22, 2011 as part of the Center's 18th Theater for Young Audiences on Tour series for young people and their families. The three-month tour of school and public performances will travel to 17 cities in 13 states from January 22, 2011 to April 16, 2011.

The Pull-Tight Players Theatre of Franklin, Tennessee, will host a talk-back following the Friday, Feb. 4 performance of John Patrick Shanley's DOUBT. Patrons are invited and encouraged to stay to explore DOUBT further with director Heather Bottoms and the cast. This will substitute for the Players' traditional Prelude event Sunday, Jan. 16, which has been cancelled due to unpredictable weather.

Three Bronx women, with nowhere else to go, end up in a bar taking stock of their lives in John Patrick Shanley's comedy Savage in Limbo. This passionate and touching tale of lost souls dealing with both hope and hopelessness is presented by Rosalind Productions, Inc. & The Platform Group at The Drilling Company Theatre, located at 236 West 78th Street. Directed by Brian Tom O'Connor, the play is being produced in association with The Drilling Company. Please note: the show is not open for review, but press coverage and listings are welcome.

Nashville theater audiences were treated to a wide range of dramatic offerings in 2010, with the revival of some of the best-known American plays of the past half-century, along with productions of some amazing original works by a group of talented homegrown playwrights, whose subjects ranged from what goes on in the intimate confines of the ladies' room to a murder mystery comedy with a film noir ambience. Clearly, if 2010 is any indication, the new 2011 season now under way is going to be filled with even more surprises and delights.

New York Theatre Intensives/New Play Summer Conservatory in association with the artists of the Ensemble Studio Theatre is offering its second summer conservatory in New York City. The six-week play development program is an intensive and immersive process for student actors, writers and directors which was offered for the first time last year. This year the Conservatory will include a three-week intensive for student lighting designers.
