Manhattan Repertory Theater's Summerfest 2010 presents the world premiere of To Protect the Poets, a new play by John Doble. The cast of nine includes Patricia Damon, Richard Fiske, Elizabeth Dilley, Cora Poage, Todd Tour'e, Reza Salazar, Keet Davis, Morgan Parpan, and Kiat-Sing Teo.

Gina Kim shines a harsh spotlight on a subject all too often kept in the shadows and comes out the other side in one piece in the World Premiere of Miss Kim, a brutally honest work about falling down and learning to get up again, beginning its World Premiere run on August 13th at the Players Theatre, located at 115 MacDougal Street. Written by Gina Kim and Ryan Tofil and directed by Matthew Corozine, Miss Kim is part of the 14th Annual New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC).

Leslie Meisel (30 Rock) comes back to the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre(307 W. 26th Street, NY, NY 10001) with a brand new one-woman show, Love Can Suck a D*** . . . and So Can I!, August 13th and August 28th at 7:30 PM. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Little Doc, written by award-winning filmmaker Dan Klores and directed by John Gould Rubin. Opening the company's 16th Season, performances of Little Doc will begin Friday, June 11 at Rattlestick Theatre (224 Waverly Place).
