The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to announce its 79th Season of Shows! It's a season filled with Laughter, Mystery, Literature, and Stories That Touch the Heart. This year includes Five Premiers that have never been seen at the Lakewood Playhouse!  

The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present the World Premier of Syra Beth Puett's One Woman Show about her life both inside, and outside, of theatre - "MY HUSBAND LIKED BEVERLY BETTER."  This Special Premier Presentation is also serving as a Fundraiser for Scholarships at our Lakewood Institute of Theatre.  Tickets for this Special Event, and Fundraiser, are Only $10.00 Each.

The Family of  LAKEWOOD PLAYHOUSE Supporters made the "Impossible Possible" last Sunday and raised $30,000 in order to retire the Lakewood Playhouse's fiscal obligations and helped to make the theatre debt free by the end of this season!

The Tacoma theater community is coming together to support the victims of the Orlando massacre with a special one night only staged reading of The Laramie Project on Sunday, June 26th at 7:30pm. The event will be held at Tacoma Little Theatre. The brainchild of Rachel Fitzgerald, this benefit came from a simple question. 'What can I do?'
