The New York Post writes that David Hare's SKYLIGHT, starring Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan, is 'laying the groundwork for a transfer' to Broadway following its rave-review opening last week at Wyndham's Theatre in the West End. No word on official dates or a theater, but BWW will keep you updated as we know more!

Celebrating its 5th year bringing live theatre to cinema audiences around the world, NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE has announced an international broadcast of Carey Mulligan, Bill Nighy and Matthew Beard in the critically acclaimed West End production of David Hare's Skylight, directed by Stephen Daldry, on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Dates will vary at venues internationally and encore screenings will follow. The production will first receive a live broadcast to cinemas in the UK on Thursday, July 17.

Stephen Daldry directs Matthew Beard (Edward Sergeant), Carey Mulligan (Kyra Hollis) and Bill Nighy (Tom Sergeant) in a major West End revival of David Hare's Olivier award-winning Skylight. Opening at the Wyndham's Theatre on 18 June, the show's strictly limited run plays until 23 August 2014. Neil Morrissey will join the cast of RELATIVE VALUES, at the Harold Pinter Theatre, from Monday 26th May until Saturday 21st June, taking over the role of Crestwell from Rory Bremner, whose 10 week run ends on Saturday 24th May.

Leigh Zimmerman will join the cast of Theatre Royal Bath Productions' Relative Values as it transfers to the Harold Pinter Theatre, Wednesday 19th March to Saturday 21st June 2014, in the role of Miranda Frayle. Leigh is known all over the world for her leading roles on stage, in the West End and on Broadway, and in TV and film. Most recently she won the 2013 Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her performance as Sheila in A Chorus Line (Palladium) and appeared with Domenick Allen in A Love Affair from A2Z (St. James Theatre).

October Films is commissioned to produce the special, WALKING THE NILE (wt), that will air in the U.S. in Winter 2015.

Laurel Mill Playhouse, located at 508 Main Street in Laurel, MD., presents a lively collection of nine one act plays for their One Act Festival. Performances run Today, September 6 & Saturday, September 7 at 8pm, Sunday, September 8 at 2pm and Today, September 13 & Saturday, September 14 at 8pm and Sunday September 15 at 2pm. A different set of one acts each weekend.
