PINKALICIOUS, FANCY NANCY & More Set for Vital Theatre Company's 2015-16 Season

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY has announced its 2015/2016 season of five musicals for children and families, performed by adults. The season will open with Flight School, The Musical, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, which will have its world premiere on Saturday, September 26 at 1:00 pm with a special Red Carpet Premiere. Fashion Academy, The Musical, appropriate for ages 7 and up, opens Saturday, October 2 at 7:00 pm, also with a special Red Carpet Premiere. Pinkalicious, The Musical, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, now in its 8th year, will continue Sundays only, beginning Sunday, September 13 at 11:00 am. Tickets are $49.50 for regular seats and $59.50 for premium seats. Purchase a Family Package before September 25 and all regular seats are only $25.00. CCT to Present PINKALICIOUS, 9/24-10/11

 Columbus Children's Theatre will present Pinkalicious September 24-October 11, 2015 at Park Street Theatre located at 512 Park Street. Book by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, Music by John Gregor, Lyrics by John Gregor, Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, Based on the book Pinkalicious by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann. This production is directed by William Goldsmith.

PINKALICIOUS Plays Oakland University This Weekend

This year, the Oakland University theatre program will present 'Pinkalicious the Musical,' as its annual children's production. The show tells the tale of Pinkalicious, a pink-loving girl who eats so many pink cupcakes she turns pink. It's a dream come true. Or is it? 'Pinkalicious the Musical' is about learning the power of self-control and the importance of moderation.

Those were the first words written by author Joan Didion after the sudden death of her husband of nearly four decades. Didion's powerful memoir of love and loss, THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING, will unfold upon the stage of the Roxy Regional Theatre's theotherspace for four evenings, February 23 - March 3.

PINKALICIOUS & SID THE SCIENCE KID LIVE! to Play MPAC

Two fun family shows for children and their caregivers come to Mayo Performing Arts Center in January. Pinkalicious (Sunday, January 25) and Sid the Science Kid (Tuesday, January 27) appeal to children ages three and above.

Geva Theatre Center to Continue 2014-15 Season with LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

Geva Theatre Center presents Little Shop of Horrors - the smash-hit musical by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, based on the 1960 film by Roger Corman. Directed by Sean Daniels, Little Shop of Horrors begins performances January 13, opens January 17 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through February 15.

PINKALICIOUS Returns to Vital Theatre this Weekened

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY has announced that the long running favorite Pinkalicious, The Musical will return to the Vital stage starting November 1st. Vanessa Redgrave to Read Joan Didion's 'Blue Nights' to Benefit BC/EFA

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Cathedral of St. John the Divine announced today that Tony Award-winning actress Vanessa Redgrave will perform a reading of Blue Nights, the evocative memoir by Joan Didion, at a special benefit performance at 8 p.m. Monday, November 17, at The Cathedral (1047 Amsterdam Ave, NYC).

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY has announced that its 2014 Fall Season will include four musicals for children and families, performed by adults. The season will open with The Butterfly Girl, which had its World Premiere on the Vital stage in 2011. Two popular shows returning this season are Peace, Love, and Cupcakes The Musical and the long running favorite Pinkalicious, The Musical. Fancy Nancy returns for the holidays in Fancy Nancy: Splendiferous Christmas.

The board of directors of Penobscot Theatre Company has announced that Artistic Director Bari Newport has been named producing artistic director, and Mary Budd, who had served as the theatre's interim managing director since February, has been named executive director.

Perhaps the power of American Players Theatre can be determined by an audience's silence when exiting the Touchstone Theater after a Sunday evening performance, the haunting quiet almost reverent appreciation for what had transpired minutes before. In Spring Green, Sarah Day illuminates the stage in an approximately one hour forty five minute no intermission performance. APT's one woman play retells award winning author's Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking, a play she adapted in 2007 and based on her memoir from the year after her husband John Gregory Dunne died in 2003 A time when Didion simultaneously coped when her daughter Quintana suffered from septic shock, often lying n the hospital's ICU hovering between life and death.

PINKALICIOUS to Play City Theatre, 11/21-23

Based on the popular children's book by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, Pinkalicious The Musical will perform six shows at the City Theatre on Friday, November 21 through Sunday, November 23.
