Alexandra Silber, Frances Ruffelle & More Set for NELL GWYNN Reading

The Acting Company (Founded by John Houseman and Margot Harley; Ian Belknap, Artistic Director; Elisa Spencer-Kaplan, Executive Director) announced casting today for the next reading in the 23rd John McDonald Salon Reading Series, Jessica Swale's Olivier Award-winning, music-filled comedy Nell Gwynn. The reading will take place on Monday, June 24 at 7 PM at the Mainstage Theater at Playwrights Horizons (416 W. 42nd Street, New York, NY). The Dryden Ensemble presents 'Musica Stravagante,' a program of Baroque music by German and Italian masters on Saturday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 6587 Upper York Road, Solebury, Pennsylvania, and on Sunday, April 7 at 3:00 p.m. at Miller Chapel, located on the campus of Princeton Theological Seminary, 64 Mercer Street, Princeton, New Jersey. Pilgrim Festival Chorus Launches 20th Anniversary Celebration

Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC), the South Shore's principal non-profit community chorus, launches its two-decade anniversary celebration this spring featuring a choral masterwork in two Mozart Requiem concerts on Saturday, April 27, 7:30 pm at St. Bonaventure Parish, 803 State Road, Rte. 3A, Plymouth, and on Sunday, April 28, 4 pm at Scituate Center for the Performing Arts, 606 Chief Cushing Highway, Rte. 3A, Scituate. The chorus is directed by founding Co-Artistic Directors William B. Richter, conductor and Elizabeth Chapman Reilly, accompanist.  The concerts feature a 20-piece professional orchestra.

Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC), one of the region's principal non-profit community choruses, invites singers to open auditions at two Welcome Nights on Monday, January 14 and Monday, January 21, at 6:30 pm.  Music Directors William B. Richter and Elizabeth Chapman Reilly greet interested singers at Faith Community Church (formerly United Methodist Church), 29 Carver Road, Plymouth, to answer questions about PFC and audition attendees for vocal placement. Rehearsals for the spring season begin at 7 pm immediately following auditions.
