Syfy announces additional casting for its upcoming drama pilot, High Moon, inking Peter Macon, Dana Davis and Jonathan Tucker for recurring roles in the 90-minute pilot. Charity Wakefield also signs on for a pilot guest starring role. Co-produced by Universal Cable Productions and Lark Productions, the pilot is set to commence shooting August 26 in Vancouver BC. The project is based on the novel 'The Lotus Caves' by John Christopher.

Syfy Picks Up Bryan Fuller's HIGH MOON Pilot

Syfy, the destination for high-concept, boundary-pushing genre entertainment, announced today it will begin production on the pilot of High Moon, an adaptation of John Christopher's best-selling novel The Lotus Caves. Along with a creative team featuring Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies) and Jim Danger Gray (Pushing Daisies, Hannibal), Universal Cable Productions will serve as the studio.

Syfy is greenlighting Reunion Pictures' new series pilot High Moon, an adaptation of John Christopher's best-selling novel The Lotus Caves, it was announced today by Mark Stern, President, Original Content, Syfy, and Co-Head, Original Content, Universal Cable Productions. Reunion Pictures is producing the 90-minute pilot which is expected to begin production in Vancouver this fall.

Classic Stage Company has announced complete casting for their upcoming production of Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, which begins previews at CSC on Wednesday, April 4 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 20. Joining two-time Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth (Hippolyta/Titania) and acclaimed film/television/stage star Christina Ricci (Hermia) in the cast are Jordan Dean (Demetrius), Nick Gehlfuss (Lysander), David Greenspan (Flute/Fairy), Halley Wegryn Gross (Helena), Anthony Heald (Theseus/Oberon), Erin Hill (Starveling/Fairy), Chad Lindsey (Snout/Fairy), Taylor Mac (Egeus/Puck), James Patrick Nelson (Snug/Fairy), Steven Skybell (Bottom) and Rob Yang (Quince/Fairy).
