Since its premiere in Walcot Street in October 1977, 'Elsie and Norm's Macbeth' has been, and still is, continually performed all over the world; and a number of famous names have taken the title roles over that time. OLD BAG THEATRE COMPANY are honoured and excited to announce that they are bringing ELSIE AND NORM'S MACBETH back to Bath for a 40th anniversary run at the RONDO THEATRE.

Originally performed in the 1600s and on stages across the world ever since, the play follows the two-faced Tartuffe as he dupes a well-to-do gentleman into surrendering his home and daughter in the name of religion.

According to the Wall Street Journal, audience members seated in the orchestra of the upcoming Broadway musical, 'Holler If Ya Hear Me,' will have a movie-theatre-esque experience. The production is spending $200,000 to alter the arrangement of seats in the orchestra, with hopes of augmenting the theatre's sense of intimacy.
