Lily Tomlin has been set to host as the Casting Society of America fêtes their own on Monday, November 1, 2010, at the 26th Annual Artios Awards® in Los Angeles.

Directed by David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?), Driving Miss Daisy began performances on October 7, 2010, at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), and officially opened Monday, October 25, 2010. The 16-week limited engagement runs through Saturday, January 29, 2011.

This Friday, SPACE TOURISTS: Christian Frei (who made the Oscar- nominated WAR PHOTOGRAPHER) follows the adventures of Iranian-American entrepreneur Anousheh Ansari, who became the first female space tourist in the world. Her childhood dream of space travel is made possible not by NASA, but the Russian Federal Space Agency. The cost of Ansari's ten-day journey into space and onto the international space station is twenty million dollars, including a rough landing in the steppes of Kazakhstan.

Last night, October 18, the Joel Grey-directed, 25th anniversary staged reading of Larry Kramer's ground-breaking play, The Normal Heart, earned a heartfelt standing ovation at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Producer Orin Wolf and Off the Aisle Productions have announced that It Must Be Him, a new comedy by Kenny Solms, co-creator and writer of the legendary, Emmy Award-winning 'Carol Burnett Show,' will premiere this summer at the Peter J. Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street). Directed by Daniel Kutner, It Must Be Him began performances on Tuesday, August 24, and officially opened on Wednesday, September 1. The limited engagement ends Sunday, September 26.

30 Rock's Jack McBrayer, who plays Kenneth the page on the hit NBC TV show has just been cast to make his Broadway debut in the staged reading of The Normal Heart on October 18th, reports the New York Times.

Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Long Wharf Theatre opened Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, last night, March 24.
