This Friday, SPACE TOURISTS: Christian Frei (who made the Oscar- nominated WAR PHOTOGRAPHER) follows the adventures of Iranian-American entrepreneur Anousheh Ansari, who became the first female space tourist in the world. Her childhood dream of space travel is made possible not by NASA, but the Russian Federal Space Agency. The cost of Ansari's ten-day journey into space and onto the international space station is twenty million dollars, including a rough landing in the steppes of Kazakhstan.

Monday, November 1st, THE BIG C: In Showtime's new and highly unconventional hit comedy series, a buttoned-up Minneapolis schoolteacher named Cathy Jamison (Laura Linney) decides it's "time to start living" after learning she has Stage Four melanoma. A new episode (which will air on Showtime the same night) will be screened, followed by a discussion with cast and creative team members including Laura Linney, Oliver Platt, Gabourey Sidibe, Phyllis Somerville, John Benjamin Hickey, Darlene Hunt, Executive Producer/Creator, Jenny Bicks, Executive Producer, Vivian Cannon, Executive Producer.

Wednesday, November 3rd, LOUIS CK: The FX series Louie is that rarest of things, a truly auteurist television program, created, written, directed, and edited by its star, beloved comedian Louis C.K. It's also f*#%ing hilarious. The Paley Center, in partnership with the New York Comedy Festival, is delighted to welcome Louis C.K. to discuss the production of this fearless, unconventional comedy, which confronts issues of aging, race, violence, and compulsive ice cream consumption with scrupulous honesty and lacerating wit.

Monday, November 8th, The Crowd Goes Wild: Five Years of The Jersey Boys: Jersey Boys, Broadway's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, is the runaway smash-hit that takes you up the charts and behind the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. This November, Jersey Boys will be celebrating its fifth year on Broadway. The Paley Center is delighted to recognize this achievement with a special evening featuring original Four Seasons members Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio, and Jersey Boys coauthors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, who will discuss the legacy of the band and the production of the Broadway show, and share archival performance clips with the audience.
