Members of The Flora L. Thornton Opera Program will perform Johann Strauss's beloved operetta Die Fledermaus at Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre on Thursday, February 21 and Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts.

New Philharmonic, under the direction of Maestro Kirk Muspratt, opens 2019 with Johann Strauss II's "Die Fledermaus," libretto by Karl Haffner and Richard Genee, Saturday,Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m. The operetta, staged by Michael La Tour, will be sung in English. A free MAC Chat will take place one hour prior to each performance.

A January 'Gathering' of young and old, from communities all over Cork and beyond who love to dance, will take to the floor in City Hall, to the 'Savoy Hotel' style music of Evelyn Grant (RTE lyricfm) and the Cork Pops Orchestra. The Lord Mayor's Tea Dance, hosted by Cllr. Mick Finn, Lord Mayor of Cork, is a not-for-profit initiative organised by a local committee of people from the public, private and voluntary sectors. On Saturday, December 15, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) Holiday POPS! concert celebrates the season with the Princeton High School Choir at 3 pm and 6 pm performances led by Music Director Rossen Milanov at Richardson Auditorium on Princeton University Campus. The festive program includes John Debney's suite from the movie Elf, Jerry Herman's "We Need a Little Christmas" from Mame (sung by choir member Danielle Danis), Felix Mendelssohn's Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride, a waltz by Johann Strauss Jr., and more. Of course, everyone is invited to join in as Maestro Milanov leads the carol sing-along!

Andre Rieu will play a very special concert at Sydney Town Hall on 20 November 2018. This intimate concert in a venue smaller than any other on his national tour, will seat only 1000 people.
