Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional casting for the 2017 summer season. Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical has received an amazing response from the fans of the series - but they have pointed out that the show's 'Annabeth', played by Kristin Stokes, was not a blonde. So with the help of Amy Schiappa of Fringe Salon, 'Annabeth' will have a lighter look for the show's first performance on March 23 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. The Johnny Mercer Foundation (JMF) and the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University announce Stephen Bray, Tony, and Grammy-nominated songwriter for The Color Purple, will join the 12th annual Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project as a Master Teacher.
