The evening of December 13th, 2013 was sparkle and jolly for all who attended the KIDS PERFORMING WHO KARE BROADWAY CHRISTMAS CONCERT at the Rockville Links Club in Rockville Centre, NY, to benefit the Cancer Center for Kids at Winthrop University Hospital. The season is upon us, and as we rush to local stores to score the best presents for our families and loved ones, we should remember those who are less fortunate. Broadway performers Krista Buccellato (Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan), Kristy Cates (WICKED), Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys, Porgy and Bess, American Idiot), Eliseo Roman (In the Heights, Leap of Faith), and Jodi Stevens (Jekyll and Hyde, Urban Cowboy) have teamed up with the non profit theatrical group of young thespians from the tri state area - Kids Performing Who Kare. Together they will do their best to spread holiday cheer in the season of giving during its Broadway Christmas concert and dinner. On Monday, November 4, the Broadway at Birdland partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn continued with another 'Frank & Friends' concert. This very special evening was an on-stage reunion for performers from sixteen years of Jekyll & Hyde Broadway and touring companies, including Robert Cuccioli, Craig Schulman, Luba Mason, Anastasia Barzee, Andrea Rivette, Coleen Sexton, Jodi Stevens?, Teal Wicks, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Courtney Markowitz, Dana Costello, Sean Jenness, Doug Storm & Mel Johnson, Jr. BroadwayWorld has photos from the concert below!

Casting has been announced for Stephen Sondheim's 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,' from August 24-Sept. 11 at Bellport's Gateway Playhouse.

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage, Fairfield County's Professional Theatre Company, is pleased to announce the 25th Anniversary MainStage Season. Between November 2011 and May 2012, MTC MainStage will present three fully-staged professional productions, each running for three weeks: 'Cabaret,' 'Almost, Maine' and 'I Left My Heart: A Salute to the Music of Tony Bennett.' Performances will take place in the one-of-a-kind Off-Broadway-style 50-seat studio, providing the audience with an intimate theatregoing experience. MTC MainStage is located at 246 Post Road East in Colonial Green (Lower Level) in Westport, CT.

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage is proud to present 'My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra' by David Grapes and Todd Olson. A drop-dead, too-good-to miss musical revue featuring over fifty songs recorded by 'Old Blue Eyes,' this limited engagement of 'My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra' is currently in production. Due to popular demand, an additional performance has been added on Sunday, April 17 at 7pm.
