The Bijou Theatre welcomes Broadway, film and television composer David Friedman on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in CT SINGS DAVID FRIEDMAN.

On Friday May 13, Broadway Stars will perform in concert highlighting the Summer Theatre's Gala Evening "Getting to Know You" held at Woodway Country Club in Darien CT.  The evening features performances by Broadway Tony Award-Winning actress Kelli O'Hara star of The King and I,  South Pacific,  Bridges of Madison County, Light in the Piazza and The Pajama Game (with Harry Connick Jr.).  She will be joined with Broadway friends of the Summer Theatre including two-time Tony Nominee Robin de Jesus, Broadway composer and national cabaret star David Friedman and Broadway veterans Janelle Robertson, Jodi Stevens and Chip Zien.  Also, a performance by cast members from this summer's West Side Story, and by the Performing Arts Conservatory of New Canaan Children Chorus.

The evening of December 13th, 2013 was sparkle and jolly for all who attended the KIDS PERFORMING WHO KARE BROADWAY CHRISTMAS CONCERT at the Rockville Links Club in Rockville Centre, NY, to benefit the Cancer Center for Kids at Winthrop University Hospital. The season is upon us, and as we rush to local stores to score the best presents for our families and loved ones, we should remember those who are less fortunate. Broadway performers Krista Buccellato (Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan), Kristy Cates (WICKED), Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys, Porgy and Bess, American Idiot), Eliseo Roman (In the Heights, Leap of Faith), and Jodi Stevens (Jekyll and Hyde, Urban Cowboy) have teamed up with the non profit theatrical group of young thespians from the tri state area - Kids Performing Who Kare. Together they will do their best to spread holiday cheer in the season of giving during its Broadway Christmas concert and dinner. This special evening will take place Today December 13th at the Rockville Links Club in Rockville Centre, NY.

On Monday, November 4, the Broadway at Birdland partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn continued with another 'Frank & Friends' concert. This very special evening was an on-stage reunion for performers from sixteen years of Jekyll & Hyde Broadway and touring companies, including Robert Cuccioli, Craig Schulman, Luba Mason, Anastasia Barzee, Andrea Rivette, Coleen Sexton, Jodi Stevens?, Teal Wicks, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Courtney Markowitz, Dana Costello, Sean Jenness, Doug Storm & Mel Johnson, Jr. BroadwayWorld has photos from the concert below!

The touching romantic comedy, "Holiday," by Philip Barry, author of "The Philadelphia Story," will be read as part of the Script in Hand series at Westport Country Playhouse, on Monday, December 12, 7 p.m., directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse artistic advisor.
