The Little Orchestra Society, in association with New York City Center, is pleased to announce an exciting reimagined version of the timeless Russian masterpiece, Stravinsky's Firebird, at New York City Center on November 23rd and 24th. The production, part of The Little Orchestra Society's Happy Concerts for Young People series, will take audiences on an unforgettable journey through space and time using light, shadows, music, dance and Bunraku-style puppetry to tell the epic tale of Prince Ivan, the magical firebird and the struggle between good and evil. The story will be set to Stravinsky's dramatic narrative music and the performance will be guest conducted by David Alan Miller.
Greg Edwards & Andy Sandberg capture the humor in their new play, Craving for Travel. Commissioned and produced by Jim Strong, one of America's leading luxury travel agents, and directed by Sandberg, the play makes its world premiere January 9 - February 9, 2014 at the Peter J. Sharp Theater (416 W. 42nd Street, NYC).
In the second season premiere of 'Something New', Joel B. New sat down with acclaimed musical theatre performer and songwriter Drew Gasparini.
