Singer and songwriter Amos Lee will make his Segerstrom Center for the Arts debut on Wednesday, August 6 at 8 p.m. in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall as part of the second leg of his 2014 Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song Tour. His recent fall and winter headline tour included sold-out shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, ACL Live in Austin and the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Lee will be joined by band members, Freddie Berman, drums; Zach Djanikian, mandolin; Annie Clements, bass and vocals; Andy Keenan, guitar, banjo and vocals; and Jaron Olevsky, keyboards.

International Blues Legend James Montgomery and his band play Collinsville, Connecticut for the first time, making a one-of-kind appearance at Bridge Street Live on Saturday, March 22nd to celebrate the release of their highly acclaimed CD "From Detroit to the Delta". The CD which was on the nominating ballot for a Grammy and also a Blues Music Award features Johnny Winter, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford from Aerosmith, Blues Legend James Cotton, The Uptown Horns (J.Geils, Rolling Stones) and DMC from the seminal rap group RunDMC. The album chronicles Montgomery's musical journey from the urban blues and soul of his native Detroit to the rural blues of the deep South as played in the Mississippi Delta. His first trip to the Delta was inspired by a movie that he made with Morgan Freeman and Willie Nelson, among others, called "Delta Rising" that led to the James Montgomery Band playing the Ground Zero Blues Club as the personal guests of Freeman's and significantly changed their lives as musicians.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's All for the Hall fundraiser will return to Los Angeles for the first time in nearly three years. The event, which will take place on Tuesday, March 4, at Club Nokia, will again follow a 'guitar pull' format, featuring performances by Country Music Hall of Fame members Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Heart and Grammy Award-winning artist Jason Mraz. On Friday, February 7 at 10:00 p.m., Lake Street Dive brings its mix of soul, folk, and jazz to Zankel Hall as part of the ninth annual WFUV Live at Zankel concert series. The band, composed of drummer Mike Calabrese, bassist Bridget Kearney, vocalist Rachael Price, and trumpet-wielding guitarist Mike "McDuck" Olson will perform original songs from their forthcoming album, Bad Self Portraits, which is to be released on February 18, 2014. The quartet's previous albums have included fresh takes on popular songs (Fun Machine, released in 2012); a live album and concert-film (Live at the Lizard Lounge, released in 2011); and 2010's self-titled debut album of original songs. "It seems the only limitation we have," Kearney explains, "is that we try to make music that we would like listening to."
