Orlando Shakespeare Theater to Stage SPAMALOT, 9/9-10/11

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF is pleased to present Monty Python's Spamalot from September 9 - October 11, 2015 in the Margeson Theater. Directed by Artistic Director Jim Helsinger with musical direction by Steve MacKinnon and choreography by Billy Sprague, Jr., the production will headline the Theater's upcoming 27th Season Signature Series. Shakespeare & Company's SHAKESPEARE IN THE COURTS Celebrates 15 Years Tonight

Shakespeare & Company's groundbreaking Shakespeare in the Courts program celebrates its 15th year with a presentation of scenes and sword-play from Henry V tonight, March 25th at 7pm in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre. Led by Company directors and teaching artists, the Shakespeare in the Courts six-week long program guides adjudicated youth, who meet four times a week, in an exploration of Shakespeare's plays.

Florida Repertory Theatre has announced the opening of Murder at the Howard Johnson's by Ron Clark and Sam Bobrick. This deliriously funny suspense comedy follows three hapless lovers as they try unsuccessfully to off one another in the most ridiculous ways.

BWW Reviews: All Hail - Folger's Mystical JULIUS CAESAR Conquers All

Steeped in a mystic atmosphere, director Robert Richmond and his excellent company of actors breathe new life to Shakespeare's political and personal tale of assassination and retribution. JULIUS CAESAR is visually stunning, a feast for the ears, and boasts a commanding ensemble. If you thought JULIUS CAESAR was about guys in togas and Marc Antony's funeral speech, think again. This is a production not to miss.

Set in 1969, Dylan Went Electric follows seven characters' interactions in Sully's Tavern, a bar in Greenwich Village. Although he wasn't yet alive to experience it, Colorado playwright Josh Hartwell seemed to really understand the time period, its art and the types of artists who made it.

JULIUS CAESAR, Starring Anthony Cochrane, Maurice Jones and More, to Open 2014-15 Season at the Folger Theatre

Folger Theatre launches its 2014/15 season in Rome with William Shakespeare's enduring political tragedy, Julius Caesar from October 28 - December 7, 2014. Robert Richmond (Richard III and Henry V at Folger) directs the epic portrait of the battle between ambition and honor, conspiracy and loyalty, leading an outstanding ensemble including Anthony Cochrane (Broadway's War Horse and Folger's Henry VIII) as the honorable Marcus Brutus, and Maurice Jones, making his Folger Theatre debut as Caesar's closest ally, Mark Antony.
