Midtown Direct Rep will present a reading of the Terrance McNally Award finalist play, The Drama Department by James Hindman as part of Midtown Direct Rep's play development series focused on new and innovative American theatre: Theatre in the Loft. Directed by Peter Flynn, the reading will take place on Sunday, July 14th at 7:00PM. Admission: $15 Cover, Cash Bar, No Drink Minimum.

Tune-in to "The Newlywed Game" tomorrow, November 8 at 9pm ET on GSN to see a special themed Broadway episode featuring couples who have been in major Broadway hits including Wicked, Rent, and The Lion King. The three couples have proven their skills on stage, but will it be curtains for them on "The Newlywed Game?" Featured on the show will be Denny Paschall ("Chicago" and "Shrek: The Musical") & Haven Burton ("Rent," "Legally Blonde," and "Shrek: The Musical"), Geoff Packard ("Phantom of the Opera" and "Rock of Ages" ) & Chelsea Krombach ("Wicked" and "Promises, Promises"), and Jim Ferris ("The Lion King") & Erin Maguire ("Avenue Q" tour).

Pantochino Productions Inc., Connecticut's ridiculously entertaining non profit theatre company previously announced it would host a Broadway Theater Camp at the former St. Ann's School in Milford, Connecticut scheduled to take place today, August 6th through August 10th. Following its two sold-out summer theatre camps at the Milford Fine Arts Council, the company is launching this third week for young actors which will feature Broadway, National Tour and Regional Guest Artists.
