The Cape Cod Theatre Project has announced its 30th Season of New Plays, running weekend nights in July from July 5 through July 28 at Falmouth Academy's Simon Center for the Arts.

The Cape Cod Theatre Project is continuing its 2023 season this week on July 6 with playwright May Treuhaft-Ali’s Quick Service. 

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) starts its 2023 season this evening from 5-7 PM at the Falmouth Yacht Club, with a Q&A and mixer event honoring CCTP alum Sharr White (Pictures From Home).

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) announces its 2023 Season of New Plays, running Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 PM ET from June 29th-July 22nd at Falmouth Academy's Simon Center for the Arts. For the second consecutive year, CCTP will highlight female voices, with workshops of staged readings by Steph Del Rosso (June 29-July 1), May Treuhaft-Ali (July 6-July 8), Fernanda Coppel (July 13-15) and Mary Elizabeth Hamilton (July 20-22).

The Cape Cod Theatre Project’s (CCTP) all-female playwright and director season continues with Anna Ziegler’s The Janeiad which will be directed by two-time, Obie Award-winning writer and director, Lisa Peterson (An Iliad).

The Cape Cod Theatre Project is back in-person for the 2022 Season, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, June 30th - July 23rd, with a CCTP first, a celebration of female voices and their plays. New and in-progress works by Gina Femia, Anna Ziegler, Brittany K. Allen and Lameece Issaq will be featured.  

Everything's coming up roses this week because the original production of the legendary musical GYPSY is celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of its opening night! Its silver-spoon investors clash with entrepreneurs leading a start-up company worth millions, as they wield sarcasm, sharpened pens and other weapons of financial destruction. Alliances are forged as broken promises threaten fragile relationships between the executives, board members, and employees. The characters' struggles for ascendency, a moral high ground and at times, their very survival, create humorous byplay and dynamic action with unexpected twists and turns.

John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation, directed by Trip Cullman and starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney, Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey and Tony Award nominee Corey Hawkins, will close on Sunday, June 18, 2017. It will have played 21 previews and 63 regular performances. The production began previews Wednesday, April 5 and opened Tuesday, April 25 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation found its way home to Broadway last night, in its first revival since opening in 1990. After the curtain came down at the Barrymore Theatre, Allison Janney, John Benjamin Hickey, Corey Hawkins and the rest of the company celebrated at Brasserie 8½. The Actors Fund and Mount Sinai opened a new health center for the performing arts and entertainment community in New York City on Thursday. Conveniently located at 729 7th Avenue in Times Square, The Samuel J. Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts will serve as the medical care provider that is solely focused on the particular health care needs of the entertainment and performing arts community.
