On the afternoon of Monday, May 16, 2022, the First Lady of the United States Dr. Jill Biden visited with students at The Washington Ballet at THEARC in Southeast Washington, D.C. The visit supported The Washington Ballet's announcement of its new scholarship initiative designed to support pathways and pipelines into the study of ballet.
