Summer, the new musical based on the life and career of disco diva, Donna Summer, is currently delighting audiences at La Jolla Playhouse, but has the bio-musical already found its Broadway home?

La Jolla Playhouse presents the world-premiere production of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical, featuring book by Colman Domingo, Robert Cary and Playhouse Director Emeritus Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys, The Who's Tommy); directed by Des McAnuff; choreographed by Olivier Award winner Sergio Trujillo (Memphis, Jersey Boys), with musical supervision by Ron Melrose.

From Star Trek and Orange is the New Black, Emmy nominee Kate Mulgrew will present the 2017 Recipients of Gilana's Fund at the 10th Annual Living for Today Concert.

Eric Anderson joins the cast of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL as 'Mr. Thompson.' PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL also stars stage, television and film actress Samantha Barks as 'Vivian' opposite Tony Award winner and Grammy Award winner Steve Kazee as 'Edward,' with Tony Award nominee Orfeh as 'Kit,' and Jason Danieley as 'Philip Stuckey.'

From the original company of HAMILTON and most recently seen in NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, Okieriete Onaodowan joins the 10th Annual LIVING FOR TODAY concert on Monday, October 23 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) beginning at 6:30PM.

LIVING FOR TODAY will present a benefit concert entitled Living for Today: 'Celebrates Acceptance', on Monday, October 23 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) beginning at 7PM.

Last night, the curtain came down on Broadway's Tony, Grammy & Olivier Award-Winning Best Musical Jersey Boys. The show ended its record-breaking, 11-year run after 4,642 performances at the August Wilson Theatre.

This weekend, Richard Frankel, Tom Viertel, Steve Baruch and the partners at Feinstein's/54 Below generously threw Broadway favorite, Laura Benanti, a baby shower!

Last night, Melissa Benoist and Jeremy Jordan joined a line-up of stars at Feinstein's/54 Below to celebrate "Supergirl" alum, Tony Award-winner, Laura Benanti. Benanti is currently headlining the Broadway revival of She Loves Me at Studio 54-directly upstairs from Feinstein's/54 Below-a show for which she's earned her fifth Tony Award nomination.
