PBS describes the broadcast as 'a television special featuring Clay Aiken and guest stars Ruben Studdard and Linda Eder performing great romantic hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s. Decca released Clay Aiken's fifth studio album, Tried and True, today. The bulk of the album is made up of songs from the 1950s and 1960s that Aiken listened to as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina.

On Monday, April 12, Jim Caruso's Cast Party was proud to present the return of composer Scott Alan to Birdland with a concert of original material performed by some dazzling up-and-coming Broadway leading men. This event was part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series, which showcases performers and composers from the Great White Way.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival, Van Hill Entertainment and Time Life Records presenedt the pre-release and listening party for the upcoming cast album of Off-Broadway's ROOMS a rock romance, on Wednesday, October 14 at 8:30pm. The party was be at Sweet Carolines (322 West 45th Street) and showcased live performances from the musical's stars, Leslie Kritzer and Doug Kreeger.

This star-studded evening will feature a guest performance by South African hit recording artist and producer Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse. Through the support of honorary chairs and board members, like award-winning singer-songwriter-actress Deborah Cox, this benefit concert will raise awareness of and celebrate the work Broadway in South Africa does to provide artistic and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth. The concert will take place on Monday, October 5, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at Peter Norton Symphony Space, located at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street. VIP guests will enjoy pre- and post-concert events.
