Composer and Lyricist, Scott Alan, is currently in the studio recording his third CD, ‘What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up.' An expected release date is November 15th, 2010.

Joining Alan in the studio are some of today's brightest Broadway and International stars including: Nikki Renee Daniels (Promises, Promises), Diana DeGarmo (Hair), Darius de Haas (Children of Eden), Cassie McIvor (Wicked - Japan), Crystal Monee Hall (RENT), Morgan James (The Addams Family), Patina Miller (West End's Sister Act), Christiane Noll (Ragtime), Laura Osnes (South Pacific), Zak Resnick (The Broadway Boys), Christopher Sieber (Shrek: The Musical), Bobby Steggert (Ragtime) and Willemijn Verkaik (Wicked - Germany).

Jesse Vargas will serve as arranger, orchestrator, conductor and co-producer on the CD.
‘What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up' will features the songs ‘Watch Me Soar,' ‘Nothing More,' ‘ I Wish' and ‘Over the Mountains.'

Alan's debut and sophomore albums, ‘Dreaming Wide Awake' and ‘Keys,' which feature the likes of Sutton Foster, Norm Lewis, Jonathan Groff, Liz Callaway, Cheyenne Jackson and more, are available on iTunes and Alan's website, scottalan.net

On September 26th, Alan's music will be celebrated at The New Players Theatre in London's West End. Scheduled to honor Alan and his work include Patina Miller, Sierra Boggess, Norm Lewis, Louise Dearman, Hadley Fraser, Ashleigh Gray, Jodie Jacobs, Stuart Matthew Price, Willemijn Verkaik and the recently added, Shoshana Bean and The Unconventionals. On September 3rd, Alan will take the stage in Brisbane, Australia for a one night concert, ‘Scott Alan Live.' Alan will showcase songs from Dreaming Wide Awake and Keys, as well as new selections from What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up.
