Having seen the London cast of Thriller Live performing at various events such as West End Live, but having never seen the whole show, I was keen to head to the Bristol Hippodrome to see the fully staged version.

GreenStage to Close 25th Anniversary Season with THE BACCHAE, 10/12-11/2

GreenStage will complete its 25th anniversary season with another installment in its popular Hard Bard series. This fall Hard Bard will 'go Greek' with The Bacchae by Euripides, directed by Teresa Thuman, performed Thursdays through Sundays, Oct. 12-Nov. 2, at the Stage One Theatre at North Seattle Community College. As always, GreenStage performances will be absolutely free of charge.

It's a really good thing the air conditioning is working in the Seattle Center Armory because something has to cool the audience down after Sound Theatre Company's current production of "The Wild Party". Not only is it a sultry good time but the fear, love, lust, anger and danger coming off the cast is palpable.

Gentleman Jesse and His Men is set to perform with Barreracudas tonight, May 13, 2012. Jesse Smith has been a fixture of the Atlanta music scene for years, playing in groups as diverse as the punk band The Carbonas and in indie rock groups Paper Lions and Some Soviet Station. Gentleman Jesse and His Men was created in 2005, inspired by the energetic power-pop of the 70s. After two critically acclaimed albums, the 2006 7" Don't Wanna Know (Where You Been Tonight) and 2008's self-titled Gentlemen Jesse and His Men, Jesse and his men have produced a new album and gone back on the road.
