Acclaimed Jazz harpist-pianist-vocalist Corky Hale will present a 105th Birthday Show honoring Billie Holiday on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:30 PM, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. 

Corky Hale's critically acclaimed holiday album, “Have Yourself a Jazzy Little Christmas,” has been reissued by LML Records.  An acclaimed jazz harpist, she also excels on piano and vocals.  She is joined by Kirk Smith on bass and Tom Walsh on drums.

Acclaimed Jazz harpist-pianist-vocalist Corky Hale will present a 102nd Birthday Show honoring Billie Holiday on Thursday, April 6, at 7:30 PM, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. Hale is one of the few people still performing who was actually a close friend of Holiday's, playing for her on the 'Stars of Jazz' TV show, and on several recordings and live appearances, and was the only female pianist to regularly accompany her.

Corky Hale, legendary jazz harpist, pianist, vocalist, and social activist, will sign copies of her new book, "Corky Hale Uncorked," on Wed., Jan. 16 at 7 PM at Book Soup in West Hollywood.

Legendary jazz harpist-pianist-singer Corky Hale, who has performed with some of the greatest stars in music history, as well as been a pioneering social activist, is publishing a new biography this month, 'Corky Hale Uncorked,' written by Jerry Leichtling and Arlene Sarner. 

Jewish Women's Theatre's (JWT) will present music legend Corky Hale in her first interview about her new book, Corky Hale UNCORKED! Music, Marriage and Making a Difference, at Bagels & Bestsellers on Sunday, July 29 from 10 am to noon.

Lovers of the era of Busby Berkeley movie musicals are getting a double whammy of Golden Age goodness this month with a pair of musicals playing only two blocks from each other in Hollywood. I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU is already running at the mid-sized Ricardo Montalban Theatre on Vine and, very shortly, 42ND STREET will open at the much larger Hollywood Pantages. Both are inescapably linked by their subject matter.

This new musical features lyrics by Al Dubin, music mostly by Harry Warren, book by Jerry Leichtling and Arlene Sarner, and musical direction by Gerald Sternbach. In celebration of two-time Golden Globe® winner, Academy Award® & Tony Award® nominee Kathleen Turner and her upcoming engagement in the National Tour of Matthew Lombardo's play HIGH, Carlton Cinema will present a free Mini Film Festival. The festival will feature four of Kathleen Turner's most memorable performances on screen on Saturday April 28th at the Carlton Cinema, (20 Carlton Street at Yonge).
