Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents the hit Broadway musical Mary Poppins based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film with original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs and additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, and co-created by Cameron Mackintosh. Bank of America is the Major Sponsor of Mary Poppins.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) opens its 2017 season with a stunning production of William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice, a show that has not been performed by the company in 17 years. Since the recent discovery of the remains of the real Richard III, both the real life monarch and Shakespeare's monstrous version of him have been much talked about - his arch-villain of all villains - the intense, discontented, crippled, larger than life "protagonist," Richard, Duke of Gloucester dominates this seething history from start to finish. Paul Mullins who played the title role ten years ago, directs. Running in conjunction with the First Folio exhibit in October.

The Producers, now being performed at Paper Mill Playhouse through October 23rd, is a fabulous production of the hilarious hit musical. Directed by Don Stephenson, choreographed by Bill Burns with musical direction by James P. Moore, the show shines bright on the Millburn stage.

'Red Velvet,' is now onstage at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey through September 25th. This important and brilliant piece of theatre is written by Lolita Chakrabarti, directed by Bonnie Monte and features a stellar cast.
