Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, is continuing its unique partnership with the Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) again this summer with a remount of the wildly popular GET concert production of Almost Heaven, John Denver's America outdoors at the CNC. Performances will run Thursdays through Saturdays from July 14-30, 2016 at the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Ben Brady Pavilion, 9135 Willeo Rd., Roswell, GA 30075.

Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock: THE MUSICAL, with music from the movie, as well as an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, a book byJulian Fellowes and direction by Laurence Connor, made its World Premiere on Broadway on Sunday night, December 6, at the Winter Garden Theatre. English Touring Theatre today announces that Jeremy Woodhouse joins the company as Associate Producer. He will be working alongside DirectorRachel Tackley, Executive Producer Jane Claire and Producer James Quaife. Woodhouse joins English Touring Theatre in February 2016 from Theatre 503 where he is currently Executive Director.

This evening, Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. revealed nominations for the 2014-2015 Atlanta professional theatrical season. The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by Horizon Theatre. Guest announcers included the ladies of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project: Kelly Criss, Veronika Duerr, Jaclyn Hofmann, Tiffany Porter, and Megan Rose.

The box office officially opens today for the World Premiere of School of Rock - The Musical at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway). Previews will begin on Monday, November 9, 2015, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6, 2015. THE LAST SHIP will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24 at 8 p.m., but fans still have another chance to catch the cast in action. On March 2 (9:30PM) they will reunite at 54 Below for 'Songs in the Quay of Life: THE LAST SHIP Company in Concert.' The original cast and band will celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, will ring in 2015 with the romantic comic romp One Slight Hitch by the "King of Rant" himself, Lewis Black. Popular Atlanta director and actor Alan Kilpatrick directs the production.
