'Deck them Halls and all that stuff,' Lucy proclaims to Schroeder in the beloved holiday classic, 'A Charlie Brown Christmas.' The young theater vets of the recently released cast album, 'YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN' (Broadway Records), decided to follow suit with a holiday visit to stage doors to share their new CD with fellow kid performers on the Great White Way.

Broadway Records President Van Dean, Executive Producer Gina Holland and No Bully Executive Producer Michelle Shapiro today launched the charitable recording, I HAVE A VOICE (music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Robin Lerner) with 100 percent of the profits to benefit No Bully.

Today, November 11, Broadway Records releases the 2016 off-Broadway cast recording of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN. Come spend a couple of days in the lives of Charlie Brown and his pint-sized philosopher friends-from bright, uncertain morning to starlit, hopeful evening-and all of the lonely brown-bag lunches, kite-flying failures, book reports, glee club rehearsals, and suppertimes in between. Audiences of all ages will learn that 'Happiness is' the simple joys of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Just last night, Transport Group presented a benefit concert of the classic 1954 Comden & Green/Charlap & Leigh musical, Peter Pan. The evening, which was hosted by drag legend, Tony-nominated playwright, and Golden Age aficionado Charles Busch (The Divine Sister, The Tale of The Allergist's Wife), featured a cast that includes three-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello (Finding Neverland), Drama Desk nominee Rachel Bay Jones (Dear Evan Hansen), Hannah Elless (Bright Star), Ann Harada (Cinderella), three-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch (Hand to God), Tony nominee Tony Sheldon (Pricilla, Queen of the Desert), Paul Slade Smith (Finding Neverland), Drama Desk nominee Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town), Betsy Morgan(First Daughter Suite), Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof), D.C. More exciting casting has been announced for Transport Group's benefit concert celebrating the classic 1954 musical, Peter Pan.

The hit musical You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner and additional material by Andrew Lippa and Michael Mayer, presented by The York Theatre Company ((James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Interim Executive Director; David McCoy, Chairman of the Board), in association with Van Dean, Tony Heyes/Mia Moravis, Jose-Manuel Perez/Sister Productions and Jamie deRoy, concludes its limited engagement this Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2016 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue) where performances began May 24, 2016.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Interim Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and the preservation of musical gems from the past, in association with Van Dean and Sister Productions, will present the hit musical You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner and additional material by Andrew Lippa, directed by York's Associate Artistic Director Michael Unger with music direction by Eric Svejcar.  

It's only a few moments before choreographer Jennifer Paulson- Lee will watch her cast give the press a 'sneak peek' of their rehearsals. They're preparing to perform three musical numbers from 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown' which will be presented at The York Theatre beginning this week for a limited engagement. What's unique about this revival is the fact that a pint-sized cast of 9 to 13 year olds is performing all the roles. But don't let their ages fool you. This young bunch of talented thespians has a list of professional credits that any seasoned 35-year-old performer would envy. As the press files into the theatre, Paulson-Lee is busy making last minute corrections on her young charges. She is gentle and soft-spoken yet gets her point across to these eager children who take her notes and make the adjustments on the spot. The mutual love and admiration between this gang of peanuts and their dance master is all too evident.
