Jeremy Jordan in concert was like meeting up with an old friend for coffee. An incredibly talented, handsome and funny friend… His ease and comfort in the delivery of small conversations with his equally talented and witty music director, Benjamin Rauhala, was refreshing. It felt honest and intimate. Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Bonnie and Clyde, The Last Five Years) performed at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center on March 6 as a part of their Broadway Concert Series.

Rebel Genius, a new musical from Peabody Award-winning songwriter and film composer Matthew Puckett, and based on the life of the young and highly ambitious Albert Einstein, will have its world premiere at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's (UCLA TFT) Little Theater today, March 8, 2019. Rebel Geniuscrashes physics and love into one another as Albert falls madly in love with Mileva Maric and then risks everything he has to find a perfect Unified Theory of the Universe. Book, music and lyrics by Matthew Puckett; directed by Ovation Award winner Brian Kite; choreographed by Ovation Award winner Dana Solimando; musical direction by Dan Belzer and Jeremy Mann.

ng their acclaimed run last September, West Virginia Public Theatre (WVPT) returns to Monongalia Arts Center over Valentine's Day Weekend for a strictly limited three-show revival. The Last Five Years, which won both 'Best Musical' and 'Best Actor in a Musical' in the 2018 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards, is an intimate, funny, and devastatingly honest examination of life and love. The production opens today, February 14 at 8pm, with additional shows on February 15 at 8pm and February 17 at 2pm. There is no performance on Saturday the 16th. All performances will take place in the Tanner Theatre at Monongalia Arts Center (MAC).
