The theater community mourns the passing of celebrated director Shirley Jo Finney, who passed away after battling cancer. The Fountain Theatre will host a memorial service to honor her life and achievements.

Roughly one in seven people experience some type of condition that can be linked to neurodiversity, according to a 2019 BBC article. This neurodiversity includes a range of conditions from PTSD to autism to depression and anxiety. Neurodiversity truly is everywhere in our society, but it is not everywhere when it comes to live performance subjects and accommodations.

Stage Raw is a community funded professional journalism website that was created in response to the decline of arts coverage in local mainstream and alternative media.The Awards ceremony was held Monday night, August 20, at Los Angeles Theatre Center, 514 S. Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles, hosted by Coeurage Theatre Company, and co-directed by Jer Adrianne Lelliott, Thaddeus Shafer and Lauren Ludwig. Winners notated in red below.
