Whereas many in the city of New York may be seeking a little 'Markle Sparkle' on this side of the pond, Tawnydog Productions has announced that the world premiere of Erin Murray Quinlan's lighthearted and whimsical new Off Broadway musical comedy GOD SAVE QUEEN PAM will take placeon Thursday, the twenty-first day of June, Two Thousand and Eighteen with a limited engagement run through the twenty ninth day of July in the same year of our Lord.

Classic Spring is delighted to announce real-life father and son, Edward and Freddie Fox, are to play fictional father and son in Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband, from 20 April at the Vaudeville theatre. Also starring, in the role of Mrs. Cheveley, is Frances Barber. Directed by Jonathan Church, An Ideal Husband will play at the Vaudeville Theatre 20 April to 14 July 2018, before opening the Theatre Royal Bath Summer Season on 18 July to 4 August 2018.
Stage Adaptation of David Walliams's GANSTA GRANNY Returns To The West End

Birmingham Stage Company today announces the return of their smash-hit adaptation of David Walliams's bestselling book, Gangsta Granny, to the West End. The Olivier Award and UK Theatre Award nominated production opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre for a limited two week run, opening on 16 August, with previews from 14 August, and running until 26 August. Tickets go on sale today via ATG pre-sale and general on-sale on 3 May.

As Kathy Burke's Lady Windermere's Fan, starring Jennifer Saunders and Samantha Spiro, plays to packed houses, Classic Spring is delighted to announce that Guy Chambers' new folk opera, The Selfish Giant, will be co-produced by Royal & Derngate, Northampton, and directed by multi-award-winning director Bill Buckhurst. The limited run of lightly-staged performances will run at Royal & Derngate 4 April - 7 April, before moving to the Vaudeville from 10 - 14 April. Jonathan Church will direct An Ideal Husband, the third production in the year-long celebration of Oscar Wilde at the Vaudeville Theatre. An Ideal Husband will play at the Vaudeville Theatre 20 April to 14 July 2018, before opening the Theatre Royal Bath Summer Season on 18 July to 4 August 2018.

Sex, equality, morality and fidelity are all issues currently in the forefront of many people's minds. As part of a year-long celebration of Oscar Wilde, Dominic Droomgoole's Classic Spring theatre company now turn to Lady Windermere's Fan after A Woman Of No Importance. It is something of a relief to see a play that respects the serious themes of power and society's views of the morality of men and women, but yet remains gloriously funny and light hearted.

Australian cabaret performer Melissa Madden Gray, otherwise known as Meow Meow, returns to the Sydney Opera House to join forces with the wonderful Sydney Symphony Orchestra (SSO) for MEOW MEOW'S PANDEMONIUM. Under the baton of conductor Iain Grandage, who also worked with Madden Grey to compose a number of the works, the SSO creates an often cinematic score for Madden Gray's madness.
