Last night, February 24th, 2014, BroadwayWorld.com continued its SOLD OUT 2014 concert series at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, hosting an emotional all-star tribute concert and benefit, celebrating the music of 'bare' composer Damon Intrabartolo, at Joe's Pub in New York City, directed by his longtime collaborator, friend and Tony-nominee Kristin Hanggi with musical direction by Jesse Vargas. Ghostlight, the musical by Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin will present a concert at 54 Below on Thursday, March 6th, 2014 at 9:30 PM. Ghostlight premiered at The New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2011 and is slated for a fall workshop before an out-of-town tryout.

After a sold-out run at the Canal Room, 'The TRL Generation' brought its wildly successful 'Broadway Loves the Spice Girls' concert uptown to 54 Below on January 13th. The 'Girl Power'-filled song and dance extravaganza was musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala, directed by Kyle Fox, and produced by Shoshana Feinstein. The 11:30PM 'Girl Power'-filled song and dance extravaganza is musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala, directed by Kyle Fox, and produced by Shoshana Feinstein.

After the wildly successful 'Broadway Loves Britney' and 'Broadway Sings The 90's' concerts, 'The TRL Generation' returns to the Canal Room on Sunday, November 10th with 'Broadway Loves the Spice Girls,' a 'Girl Power'-filled song and dance extravaganza paying tribute to the Fab Five. The 9:30PM concert is musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala, directed by Kyle Fox, and produced by Shoshana Feinstein.

The concert is a benefit for ASPCA and will feature Derek Klena, Arielle Jacobs, Gabrielle Ruiz, Kennedy Caughell, Genny Lis Padilla, Margot B, Dana Costello, Cicily Daniels, Kristin Valphedes, Katie Hotz, Lacey Angerosa, Libby Servais, Jenna Leigh Green, Emily Esposito, Britney Coleman, Matt Shingledecker, Allison Rerecich , Geoffrey Kidwell, Jaime Cepero, Jose Sepulveda, Brandon Ellis, David Davila, Tatiana Lofton, Brian Charles Rooney, Jerey Plybum, Ben Roseberry, and Eric Restivo.

BroadwayWorld.com is very excited to announce that we will be returning to Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in 2014, kicking off a year-long celebration of the community and our 10th anniversary with regularly scheduled concerts, live streams and special events in a BIG way. The concert series will launch on January 20, 2014 with BROADWAYWORLD VISITS OZ, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. In 2004, the cast of the Off-Broadway hit BARE appeared at Joe's Pub in three sold-out concert benefits for BroadwayWorld.com with proceeds going to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Damon Intrabartolo, who wrote the music for BARE, passed away on August 13. He was 39 years old.

At this year's New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), 'Standby,' which is from the original concept of Alfred Solis, a Filipino playwright, is joined by another Filipino theater artist Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan as assistant director to Carlos Armesto.
