This Holiday season will shine a little brighter as SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert makes it's New York City debut at XL Cabaret (XLCabaret.com) on Monday, December 17th, 2012 at 7:30pm with proceeds benefitting the programs and services of The Actors Fund (www.actorsfund.org). On August 26th a benefit concert entitled Cancer's Expensive! will be held at the Laurie Beechman Theatre to help benefit Hairspray star Carly Jibson's mother, who is suffering from stage four lung and bone cancer. Renee Zimmerman is 55 years old and has no health insurance.

On Sunday, July 8th at 7PM at Joe's Pub, an all-star line-up of Broadway veterans and some of the city's best new voices presented "The TRL Generation: Broadway Sings The 90's," a one-night only concert event to benefit 'Broadway Impact.' Last night, July 9, Ben Vereen (Pippin, Fosse) hosted the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival opening night gala celebrating the season kick off. The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Janet Billig Rich & Rebecca Roffman present a staged reading of the new musical IT'S ON!, the T.V. show theme song musical.
