Doubt Plays Final Broadway Week; Tour Starts in September

DOUBT, the winner of the 2005 Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize for Best Play, will complete its triumphant Broadway run this Sunday, July 2. DOUBT, which is written by John Patrick Shanley and directed by Doug Hughes, will have played 525 performances, and 25 previews at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street). When it completes its run, DOUBT will be the fifth longest running play of the past 10 years.

DOUBT Breaks House Record For 8th Time

DOUBT has broken the house record at the Walter Kerr Theatre for the eighth time, grossing $603,566 for nine performances for the week of December 26-January 1. DOUBT had previously set a record of $550,109 for the week of July 11-17, 2005.
Doubt celebrated 300 performances on Broadway December 17

DOUBT celebrated its 300th performance on Broadway this past weekend, with the evening performance on Saturday, December 17. DOUBT began performances on March 9, 2005 and opened on March 31, 2005 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street).
