Ron Eldard, who stars as Father Flynn in the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning DOUBT on Broadway, will be featured on "WB11 Morning News" and "The Tony Danza Show" on Thursday, February 16.

Eldard's appearance on the "WB11 Morning News" will be at approximately 8:40 AM on WPIX-TV, Channel 11. "The Tony Danza Show" airs at 10:00 AM on WABC-TV, Channel 7 in the New York area. Check local listings.

Eldard, who returns to Broadway for the first time since appearing in Death of a Salesman opposite Brian Dennehy, stars in the movie Freedomland, opening in theatres on Friday, February 17.

DOUBT, written by John Patrick Shanley, is currently playing at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The production is directed by Tony Award-winner Doug Hughes.

The Broadway production stars Eileen Atkins as Sister Aloysius and Ron Eldard as Father Flynn, with Jena Malone as Sister James and Adriane Lenox as Mrs. Muller.

DOUBT is produced on Broadway by Carole Shorenstein Hays; MTC Productions, Inc. (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer); Roger Berlind and Scott Rudin.

DOUBT is author John Patrick Shanley's first play to be produced on Broadway.

DOUBT received four 2005 Tony Awards including Best Play and Best Direction of a Play (Doug Hughes).

DOUBT has also received The New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play, The Drama League Award for Distinguished Production of a Play, The Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play, the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Play, and the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play.

Set against the backdrop of a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, DOUBT is the story of a strong-minded woman faced with a difficult decision. Should she voice concerns about one of her male colleagues…even if she's not entirely certain of the truth?

Set design is by John Lee Beatty, costume design is by Catherine Zuber, lighting design is by Pat Collins, original music and sound design is by David Van Tieghem.

Performance schedule is Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM, with matinees on Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00 PM, and Sunday at 3:00 PM.

DOUBT began previews at the Walter Kerr on Wednesday, March 9 and opened on Thursday, March 31. The off-Broadway production of DOUBT began previews at Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center – Stage I on November 3, 2004 and opened on November 23, 2004.
