Last night, July 26, the Town Hall hosted ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN,' an exhilarating extravaganza of song and dance directed and choreographed by Jeffrey Denman (YANK!, WHITE CHRISTMAS). Inspired by the legendary Broadway dance of The Astaires, Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson, Gower Champion, Bob Fosse, and Jerome Robbins, the show consisted of original choreography created exclusively for the concert and was set to some of the greatest show music ever written including 'Slaughter on Tenth Avenue' and 'Cell Block Tango.' NAKED BOYS SINGING!, the fifteen-song celebration of the male form will hit yet another milestone: it will begin its twelfth year on Saturday July 24th. The Gallery Players Announce Their 44th Season

Brooklyn's The Gallery Players is proud to announce the lineup for its 44th season in addition to two Innovative Theatre Award nominations from its 43rd. The Gallery Players' productions of the new musical Top of the Heap and the first New York City revival of Caroline, or Change each received a nomination for Outstanding Production of a Musical.

BWW Recap: 'Broadway Winners' with Baldwin, Kudisch, Gemignani and More!

With a title like Broadway Winners, and the simple concept of presenting songs from award-winning musicals (or songs that have won Grammys or Oscars in their own right), it's a fairly safe bet that a concert is going to be pretty damn great. And so it was at Town Hall on Monday, when Scott Siegel's Summer Cabaret Festival kicked off with the latest edition of the concert series. Directed by Alexander Gemignani and with musical direction by David Hahn, the concert focused on musical triumphs, and that sense of accomplishment carried across the evening as each song's pedigree was announced.

'Broadway's Rising Stars' Plays Summer Bway Festival, 7/20

The Town Hall presents the Fourth Annual Summer Broadway Festival created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Presented on three consecutive Monday nights in July at 8PM are BROADWAY WINNERS: THE AWARD-WINNING MUSIC OF BROADWAY! on July 12th, BROADWAY'S RISING STARS on July 19th, and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' on July 26th. The evenings will feature music and dance coupled with witty insider tidbits, all performed by Broadway's finest. Tickets for BROADWAY WINNERS and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' are $50 and $40.
