Brookfield, WI (May 6, 2015) More than 500 business and community leaders from the Greater Milwaukee area will attend The Big Event, an all-inclusive evening of dinner, dancing, and first-class entertainment to be held Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts (Wilson Center). As part of this celebrated fundraising event, Greater Milwaukee community leader and philanthropist Jodi Peck and Wisconsin's oldest fully professional performing arts organization Florentine Opera Company will be respectively honored with the eleventh annual EDDY Award and the inaugural Educational Excellence Award.

Maureen McGovern took the stage at 54 Below for 'Celebrating Women Singer/Songwriters' from March 10-14, where she was visited by a slew of stars, including Tony Bennett and Sam Underwood. Check out photos below!

Maryland-based theater production company, ArtsCentric, will revive the iconic 1970s rock opera 'Jesus Christ Superstar' this October in a newly designed theater space located in The Best Western Plus Hotel & Conference Center (location of the former Toby's Dinner Theater of Baltimore - 5625 O'Donnell St. Baltimore, MD 21224).

NJTV, New Jersey's Public Television Network and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) have collaborated on a second season of American Songbook at NJPAC. A dream cabaret pairing comes to Segerstrom Center for the Arts when Grammy® Award-winning artist Jimmy Webb and Grammy and Drama Desk-nominated vocalist Maureen McGovern perform three concerts in their Cabaret Series debuts today, April 11 - 13 in Samueli Theater. This will also be Webb's Center debut, while McGovern appeared at the Center during the 2004 - 2005 Broadway Series as Marmee in the national tour of Little Women. The New York Times proclaims McGovern as 'blessed with a vocal technique second to none' and says that Webb is 'at the top of his game.'

The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (ASO) is delighted to announce that its 2014 Fundraising Gala, ROMAN HOLIDAY, will take place today, March 15, 2014 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel on the ides of March. Patrick Street Productions (PSP) and Talk is Free Theatre present the Vancouver premiere of the bold and brilliant Floyd Collins at the newly opened York Theatre on Commercial Drive, today, March 11-30, 2014. Based on the haunting true story of an American explorer and entrepreneur, this riveting musical is composed by Adam Guettel, who also wrote PSP's 2011 award-winning hit, The Light in the Piazza. Directed by PSP Co-Artistic Producer Peter Jorgensen, Floyd Collins features a star-studded cast including Arctic Air's Kevin McNulty and Republic of Doyle's Krystin Pellerin, led by the dynamic Bermuda-born Daren A. Herbert in the title role.
