Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theatre of California, has announced complete casting for their production of the original 1947 radio play of Miracle on 34th Street, which is being presented in honor of its 70th anniversary for a limited engagement of 14 performances from December 14 to 23 (press opening is December 15).

Center Theatre Group's Block Party continues with the opening of The Echo Theater Company production of 'Dry Land' at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Center Theatre Group's Block Party continues with the opening of The Echo Theater Company production of 'Dry Land' this Sunday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. The Echo Theatre Company's west coast premiere of playwright Ruby Rae Spiegel's DRY LAND needs to come with an advisory warning. Those partial to the sight of profuse bleeding, as in an induced abortion, might think twice about seeing DRY LAND. This particular scene contains graphic bleeding and convulsions heightened by the most convincing screamings of Teagan Rose as the wayward teen Amy.
