Ghostlight Records will release the premiere cast recording of the musical Kurt Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater - based on the recent production by the New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center musical theater series - in digital and physical formats on Friday, July 28. The album is available for pre-order starting today, Friday, July 7.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company will present the thirteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters. 

In the late-night hours of June, 14, 1994, when hockey's New York Rangers won their first Stanley Cup championship in 54 years, there were fans visiting the gravesites of loved ones, armed with six-packs of beer and radios, to share with long-gone fans a moment they thought they might never live to see.

Closing out this season at Encores! is The Golden Apple- the John Latouche and Jerome Moross' cult classic. The Golden Apple stars Mikaela Bennett (Penelope), Jeff Blumenkrantz (Menelaus/Scylla), Ashley Brown (Mrs. Juniper/Madame Calypso), Carrie Compere (Lovey Mars/The Siren), Barton Cowperthwaite (Paris), Jason Kravits (Hector Charybdis), Alli Mauzey(Miss Minerva Oliver/The Scientist), Lindsay Mendez (Helen), N'Kenge (Mother Hare/Circe), and Ryan Silverman (Ulysses).

Laura Heywood (@BroadwayGirlNYC) has confirmed to BroadwayWorld that at the Bright Star concert tonight, music supervisor Peter Asher confirmed that the production will tour in 2018, beginning in Salt Lake City. No further details on dates or casting have yet been announced.
