Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) welcomes GFour Productions, winners of 54 Drama Desk and 44 Tony Awards who have officially announced their cast of leading ladies for the production of the international hit show Menopause The Musical. Best described as a groundbreaking celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of or have survived 'The Change', Menopause The Musical is sure to leave audiences inspired and laughing long after the show.
David Link Named Chief Digital Officer at Lincoln Center

David Link has been appointed Chief Digital Officer, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA), it was announced today by Jed Bernstein, President. Link was previously Creative Director of The Wonderfactory, a digital innovation design studio that he co-founded. He comes to Lincoln Center with 20 years of experience in digital strategy, marketing, and product development for top media companies and Fortune 500 brands.

Lincoln Center to Launch New Family-Linc Program on 12/14

As part of its commitment to bring the programs of Lincoln Center to families in all five New York boroughs, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is launching Family-Linc, a program designed to encourage families with financial or other barriers to the arts to attend performances in dance, theater, orchestral music, and opera on a regular basis. In partnership with social service agencies across the city, Lincoln Center is offering prime orchestra-level seats at weekend performances by Lincoln Center constituent organizations at deeply discounted ticket prices ($10 each).

In a milestone philanthropic agreement that will help ensure the future of one of the world's iconic performing arts spaces, the children of the late Avery Fisher - Nancy Fisher, Charles Avery Fisher and Barbara Fisher Snow - today joined with the leadership of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to announce that they have entered into an agreement to enable the renaming of Avery Fisher Hall.

Bucks County Playhouse Producers Robyn Goodman and Alexander Fraser announce the launch of a musical theatre development program focusing on the importance of lyrics in the creation of new musicals: The Oscar Hammerstein Festival - named in honor of the master writer whose countless accomplishments during his illustrious career include having mentored a young Stephen Sondheim at Hammerstein's Bucks County farm -- is a year-long program that offers expert mentorship to early career composers and lyricists. The Oscar Hammerstein Festival will culminate in a weekend with musical theatre experts, artists, and enthusiasts and various events open to the general public. The Festival will launch this weekend, September 26 - 28, 2014.
