Jed Bernstein Steps Down as Lincoln Center President

Just announced, Jed Bernstein will be stepping down as president of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Bernstein has decided to leave his post in order to become involved again in creating and producing activities.

Lincoln Center's Spring Gala took place on Monday, April 11, at Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Steven A. Kandarian and MetLife were honored. There were 470 guests and nearly $3 million was raised. Since 1997, MetLife's sponsorship of Live From Lincoln Center has been instrumental to the series' success, and has enabled Lincoln Center to bring this program to hundreds of millions of people across the nation, building new audiences for the arts.

Broadway Theatre Project to Welcome Guest Artist Chazz Palminteri for 2016 Season

Academy Award nominated actor, screenwriter and producer, Chazz Palminteri, will be joining Broadway Theatre Project's 2016 season for the first time as a guest artist. Gianna Palminteri, Chazz' wife, writer, actor, producer and vocal technique teacher, will also be joining Broadway Theatre Project.

Jessica Walter and Susan Sullivan will star in a new revival of STEEL MAGNOLIAS and the entire original New York cast of the acclaimed 2010 off-Broadway comedy, THE DIVINE SISTER - Charles Busch, Alison Fraser, Julie Halston, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck and Jonathan Walker - will reprise their roles as part of Bucks County Playhouse's 2016 Summer Season.

March Proclaimed 'Lincoln Center Education Month'

 The New York City Council honored Lincoln Center Education (LCE) today with an official proclamation recognizing March as Lincoln Center Education Month. This special distinction recognizes Lincoln Center Education (LCE), the education cornerstone of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, for 40 years of outstanding and innovative work as a leader in arts education and advocacy. LCE's work has enriched the lives of educators and students of all ages through the arts.

Broadway's CINDERELLA Stars to Reunite for Bucks County Playhouse's Oscar Hammerstein Festival 2016

A benefit concert featuring the original Tony-nominated stars of the recent Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA -- Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana and Victoria Clark -- and an evening of new work focusing on the award-winning, rising musical theatre writer Adam Gwon are among the highlights of Bucks County Playhouse's Oscar Hammerstein Festival, April 29 - May 1.
