Cast members from David Cronenberg's new film Cosmopolis appeared at the project's 65th Cannes Film Festival photocall on May 25, 2012, then later walked the red carpet for the movie's premiere. The thriller stars Robert Pattinson, a 28-year-old billionaire asset manager who while riding across Manhattan in a limo to get a haircut, runs into a cast of characters that begin to turn his world upside down. As first reported on The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures is currently negotiating to give financial backing and distribution to Seth Rogen's upcoming comedy 'The Apocalypse'. The film, co-written by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, will mark the directorial debut for the actor.

Multitalented actor Liev Schreiber has been cast in the title role in the SHOWTIME pilot RAY DONOVAN, a drama set in Hollywood, California. Production will begin in Los Angeles in early 2012. RAY DONOVAN is a SHOWTIME production and is created by Southland creator Ann Biderman. Biderman, Mark Gordon and Bryan Zuriff will executive produce.
