Jason Tramm To Conduct Faure's Requiem In Morris Choral Society's 45th Season Finale

Noted American conductor and MCS Music Director Jason Tramm will begin the Morris Choral Society's 45th Season Finale with the exquisite music of Gabriel Faure's Requiem in d minor, Op. 48 in a concert entitled “Rebirth and Renewal: A Celebration of Spring” Saturday May 12th at 8PM at the historic Methodist Church on the Green in Morristown, New Jersey. The concert program will continue with works by noted contemporary composers Ola Gjeilo, Gwyneth Walker, Dan Forrest and Morten Lauridsen, as well as renown 20th century composers Samuel Barber and Randall Thompson.

The Adelphi Orchestra Announces 2018 Young Artist Competition Winners And Bold 2018-19 Young Artist Initiative For Upcoming 65th Anniversary Season

In a dramatic turn of events, three outstanding young musicians were selected in the Adelphi Orchestra's 2018 Young Artist Competition from a field of 62 worthy contestants, and 17 remarkable finalists who included Sanford Whatley (Violin), Keila Wakao (Violin), Jisu Choi (Violin), Elizabeth Lee (Violin), Laura Navasardian (Cello), Bryan Cheng (Cello), Eliana Silverman (Violin), Angela Dong (Violin) Sofia Gilchenok (Viola), Kenneth Ryu Naito (Violin), Jiabao Wei (Violin), Charles Zandieh (Cello), Jun Lin (Violin), Sophia Stoyanovich (Violin), Randall Mitsuo Goosby (Violin), Phoebe Gardner (Violin) and Jason Moon (Violin). 

The Adelphi Orchestra's NYC Mother's Day Concert To Benefit Young Artist Program And Honor Extraordinary Moms

The Adelphi Orchestra, upcoming Mother's Day Weekend Concert taking place in NYC on May 13th in NYC's historic Good Shepherd-Faith Presbyterian Church will benefit the AO's Fifteenth Annual Young Artist Programming. The Adelphi Orchestra will also take the opportunity to honor both the recently named Young Artist Competition Winners and their remarkable Moms in a prelude to the concert which will help finance the orchestra's upcoming Young Artist Concerts scheduled for 2018-2019.

Jason Tramm To Conduct Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem, Opus 45, 4/29

Noted American conductor Jason Tramm, whose work in the operatic, symphonic and choral repertoire has merited acclaim in both Europe and north America, will guest conduct Brahms' “Ein deutsches Requiem, Opus 45 in Vocal Productions New York City's Gala Concert. Brahms' masterwork for chorus, orchestra and soloists will take place Sunday April 29th at 6PM, at NYC's historic Church of the Holy Apostles. The collective ensemble of musicians and singers from the greater New York/New Jersey metro area, who will include Julianna Milin, soprano and baritone Hyung Joo Eom, have gathered to perform this concert as volunteers in support of Vocal Productions New York City's artistic mission and its founder, the critically acclaimed opera singer Valentin Peytchinov. Tickets range from $35 -$250 and can be secured online.

Rockland Symphony Orchestra To Feature Conductor Jason Tramm and Violin Virtuoso Byung-Kook Kwak

The Rockland Symphony Orchestra launches the 2018 Season with their Late Winter Concert featuring a performance of Dvorak's New World Symphony, on March 4, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Rose Concert Hall on the grounds of the Green Meadow School - 304 Hungry Hollow Road and Rt. 45 in Chestnut Ridge, New York. For this event, the Symphony will be guest -conducted by Rockland's very own Maestro Jason Tramm, appearing with virtuoso violinist Byung-Kook Kwak.
