PREformances with Allison Charney launches its 2017-2018 Concert Series Season in its new home at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center.

On August 27th at 7PM noted American conductor Jason Tramm leads the award-winning Adelphi Orchestra, the 150-member Ocean Grove Choir, virtuoso organist Gordon Turk, with featured soloists soprano Monica Ziglar, soprano Claire Leyden, mezzo Soprano Cynthia Cook, Metropolitan Opera tenor Ronald Naldi and bass Justin Beck in a program of French masterworks entitled “In the Footsteps of Our Savior.”

???????In the world of classical music, few things pull on the heartstrings of musicians and music lovers as the sight and sound of a centuries-old violin - an instrument made by a master that has stood the test of time and has a history of being played by legendary musicians, particularly for the debuts of major pieces by esteemed composers.

Noted American conductor Jason Tramm makes his Italian 2017 Narnia Festival conducting debut with several scheduled performances -  including two new, fully staged productions of "Gianni Schicchi" and "Suor Angelica" from Puccini's celebrated and enigmatic ensemble of one act operas, "IL TRITICO." Directing the productions Tramm will be working with Maria Rosaria Omaggi,  the accomplished Italian actress and writer.

One of Ocean Grove's most steadfast and beloved traditions, the Annual Choir Festival, now in its 63rd season, returns on Sunday July 9 at 7:00 p.m. in The Great Auditorium. This year's theme is “In The Footsteps of Our Savior.” 

Joshua Gersen, New York Philharmonic Assistant Conductor will guest conduct the Adelphi Orchestra in a sumptuous concert of French masterworks on June 11th at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Music Center in New York City.  Adelphi Orchestra's benefit concert for the orchestra's Young Artist Program "Une Fete en France" will showcase a former Adelphi Orchestra Young Artist Competition winner as guest soloist and will recognize the former winners and current finalists of the Adelphi Orchestra's Young Artist Program.  The concert's goal is to generate funds to support future outstanding young musicians through the Young Artist Program's endeavors.

For those who question the future of classical music and young musicians rest assured, the Adelphi Orchestra will surprise and delight in a sumptuous concert of French masterworks on June 11th at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufmann Music Center in New York City. "Une Fete en France " will honor winners and finalists of the Adelphi Orchestra's Young Artist Program as well as generate funds to support future outstanding musicians.

Jason Tramm and the Morris Choral Society welcome acclaimed pianist Michael Fennelly who will perform Beethoven's exquisite 'Choral Fantasy, Op. 80' this Saturday May 20th at the Dorothy Young Concert Hall at Drew University. Mr. Fennelly will perform the famed concerto which Beethoven himself premiered in 1808 in in lieu of Italian pianist Cristiana Pegoraro, who is indisposed.

On Sunday April 2nd, the Adelphi Orchestra will share the stage with the Roxey Ballet company and the Studio 691 Dance company in 'At the Ballet' an afternoon program of classical music and dance, where dancers and musicians alike pay homage to classical music's finest works created for the dance.

On Sunday March 26th, the Adelphi Orchestra embarks upon an ambitious concert, “Mystical Songs and Dances of Scheherazade” celebrating the enigmatic heroine and narrator of the collected stories which comprise Arabian Nights.

???????The 19th century phrase "Grand Tour" conjures the pivotal rite of passage essential in the creation of the complete artist. With the Palmetto Opera's March 4th production of Giacomo Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" Jason C. Tramm concludes an ambitious, three-week long series of guest conducting appearances with opera companies throughout the East, Florida and Illinois.

Noted conductor Jason C. Tramm will lead a concert version of Puccini's Madama Butterfly Wednesday January 4th, 7:30 PM at the National Opera Center in New York City.

Jason C. Tramm will guest conduct 'Concert extraordinary de Craciun' with the Oltenia Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and Academic Choir with featured soloist, Romanian- American soprano Veronica Iovan, December 21st through 23rd in Craiova, Romania.
