Charles Shaughnessy (TV's The Nanny , Days of Our Lives , Broadway's Urinetown) portray director Julian Marsh. He will be joined by 3-time Grammy Award-winning recording icon Debby Boone (#1 hit You Light Up My Life , Broadway's 7 Brides for 7 Brothers) as diva Dorothy Brock and rising Broadway star Eloise Kropp (Dames at Sea, On the Town, Cats) as Anytime Annie. Ms. Kropp will also create the show's tap choreography.

The Merrick Theatre & Center For the Arts continues its 2017-2018 season with Jason Robert Brown's intimate love story, The Last Five Years, running until January 28. The two-person, song cycle musical tells the story of the romantic relationship between two New Yorkers - Cathy, an aspiring actress, and Jamie, a novelist of the verge of a success - over a five-year period. While Jamie's songs progress chronologically, Cathy's proceed in reverse - thus giving audiences a unique perspective into the growth and ultimate destruction of their relationship.
