Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Stages an Impassioned RAISIN

Due to overwhelming audience response, Florida Studio Theatre announces the fourth extension of Blue Suede Shoes through April 29 in the Goldstein Cabaret. With music from legends like Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, and James Brown, devoted audiences keep returning to FST's "Sensational" rock & roll music revue with a "Top notch" and "Absolutely mesmerizing" cast.

Due to audience demand, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces the extension of its second cabaret of the season, Blue Suede Shoes, celebrating the birth of rock and roll now through April 8. Bursting with spirit and featuring songs from music legends like Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley, audiences have called the production fabulous, high energy, and great entertainment. FST's 2016-17 Winter Cabaret season begins with the musical revue Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves, highlighting some of the most beloved female solo singers of the last four decades.

Kristin Piacentile is currently starring as Janis Joplin in A Night with Janis Joplin at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, NY, where she portrays the legendary singer for three performances per week.

Due to popular demand, Florida Studio Theatre is proud to announce the extension of Dancing in the Street, developed by Richard Hopkins and Jim Prosser with special assistance by Rebecca Hopkins. The show will run through February 14, 2015. Kicking off the Cabaret season at FST is THE PRIMA DONNETTES, developed by FST Artistic Director Richard Hopkins and Jim Prosser. It will open in Florida Studio Theatre's John C. Storyville the Musical, an historic musical stage production involving race relations in the red-light district of early 20th century New Orleans featuring orchestrations by Tony Award Winner Larry Hochman (Book of Mormon) and performances by Broadway actresses Jannie Jones (The Full Monty), Jessica Tyler Wright (Pump Boys and Dinette), and nationally known Edward M.
