MA Acting Classical and MA Acting Contemporary students at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama will perform in their final-year productions of 'The Cherry Orchard' and 'Bones', respectively.

Leading West End theatre charity the Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass Trust (Masterclass) is delighted to be the recipient of a 300k donation from Access Entertainment. This support over the next three years comes as part of Access Industries' commitment to the development of new and emerging talent in the theatre industry.

On Sunday 23 June, LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) held its first biennial fundraising gala, hosted by LAMDA President and alumnus Benedict Cumberbatch CBE and LAMDA Chairman, The Rt. Hon Shaun Woodward. VIP guests, LAMDA alumni and current students enjoyed an evening of entertainment at the drama school's West London campus. £230,000 was raised, which will support LAMDA's ongoing work to ensure a wider group of young people can experience world-class Conservatoire training.

Watford Palace Theatre today announce a radical re-imagining of Patrick Hamilton's classic psychological thriller, Gaslight, directed by Richard Beecham. The production opens on 7 October with previews from 2 October and runs until 26 October.

The Finborough Theatre's Spring season features three stunning rediscoveries, all unseen in London for many years - a heart-breaking play set against the backdrop of apartheid South Africa by Athol Fugard; a hit British musical of the 1960s from the composer of Oliver!, Lionel Bart; and our third rediscovery from neglected Ulster playwright St John Ervine.

The acclaimed South African/British actor, writer and director Janet Suzman directs the first London production in 35 years of Athol Fugard's A Lesson From Aloes at the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre, running for a strictly limited four week season from Wednesday, 27 February to Saturday, 23 March 2019 (Press Nights: Tuesday, 5 March and Wednesday, 6 March 2019 at 7.30pm).

Actress, songwriter and cabaret artist Joanna Weinberg returns to South Africa after many years, to perform her entertaining hit solo cabaret, Pandora's Bag at the Baxter Golden Arrow Studio, for a limited season, from 23 October to 3 November, at 8.15pm.

Nominations have been announced for the forthcoming Manchester Theatre Awards, to be held at The Lowry's Quays Theatre on Friday 9 March, hosted by actor and comedian Justin Moorhouse.

The Old Globe today announced its 2017-2018 Season, which will kick off with the world premiere musical Benny & Joon, with book by Kirsten Guenther, music by Nolan Gasser, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein.

Breach Theatre follows up The Beanfield with Tank, which runs for three nights at HOME in Manchester, after its string of four-star reviews at last year's Edinburgh Festival. Performances will play Thursday 4 - Saturday 6 May 2017.

Alongside a lauded acting career - he will reprise his Prospero when the RSC's The Tempest comes to the Barbican this summer - Simon Russell Beale has retained his passion for classical music, through projects like BBC series Sacred Music. This Wednesday, he performs as the narrator for City of London Sinfonia's Closer: The Soldier's Tale - an intimate version of Stravinsky's parable, directed by Dame Janet Suzman at Shoreditch's Village Underground.

???????HOME is delighted to announce the first UK revival of Martin Sherman's award-winning Rose, which premiered at the National Theatre in London in 1999. Directed by Richard Beecham, Janet Suzman takes on the role of the eponymous Rose.

Letters to Windsor House (no, not that one) is the latest show from multi award- winning duo Sh!t Theatre, comprising Louise Mothersole and Rebecca Biscuit, whose last appearance at HOME was in Women's Hour in HOME'S ORBIT Festival in autumn 2016. Letters to Windsor House plays at HOME for four performances, Wed 19 - Fri 21 April 2017.

The 2017 Baxter Zabalaza Theatre Festival, which takes place from 18 to 25 March, will once again showcase an exciting and diverse programme of 56 different productions, performed by nearly 300 artists, from all over the Western Cape and other regions, covering various genres, theatrical styles and languages.

Celebrated soprano Julia Migenes returns to L.A. with the world premiere of her newest musical portrait of a great composer. Accompanied on piano by Manuel Arellano and directed by Academy Award-nominated director Peter Medak (The Ruling Class with Peter O' Toole), Migenes' Debussy: His Letters and His Music opens at the Odyssey Theatre on Feb. 10 for a three-week run.

Following their hugely successful touring productions of Plastic Figurines and Chip Shop Chips, Manchester-based theatre company Box of Tricks will open their 2017 tour of Narvik, their critically acclaimed new play with songs, by award-winning playwright Lizzie Nunnery, at HOME between Tue 31 Jan - Sat 4 Feb 2017.
