Following multiple sold out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band returns to the intimate Manhattan venue 54 Below on Saturday August 22nd to continue an official residence for 2015. The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, features returning guest vocalists Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), Hannah Elless (Godspell, Steve Martin & Edie Brickell's Bright Star), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Hedwig and The Angry Inch, American Idiot), Janet Krupin (Bring It On, If/Then), Lauren 'LOLO' Pritchard (DCD2 Recording Artist, Spring Awakening), and Ciara Renee? (Big Fish, Pippin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), plus the Broadway Big Band debuts of Nicholas Christopher (Motown The Musical, Whorl Inside A Loop) and Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect, The Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen). Friedman and Rosen co-produce the series.

Seeking to recapture the immediacy of this modern day classic, UAProductions pays tribute to the legacy of Larson's beloved masterpiece, with creative consultation from original Broadway cast member, Anthony Rapp.

Contemporary musical theatre writer Zack Zadek offers an evening of story-driven synthpop performed by vocalists from Broadway and pop-rock recording artists. Zadek will co-lead a full-piece band with Broadway Orchestrator and Musical Director Charlie Rosen (The Visit, Honeymoon in Vegas, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band). Max Friedman directs. Valerie Novakoff produces.

For the live song portion of the episode, Vishal Vaidya performed 'How to Sleep Alone,' music by Joel B. New and lyrics by Heidi Heilig.

Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham (Gentlemen's Guide..., The Heidi Chronichles), Janet Krupin (If/Then, Bring It On) Ciara Renee (Pippin, Big Fish) make their Broadway Big Band debuts, joing a starry list of performers. The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, also featurs returning guest vocalists Nick Blaemire (Found, Godspell), Tony Award Nominee Daniel Breaker (Passing Strange, The Book of Mormon), Jason Gotay (Spider Man: Turn Off The Dark, Bring It On), Julia Mattison (Godspell), and more to be announced!
