Girl Be Heard Receives NEA Grant

The internationally renowned and award-winning ensemble GIRL BE HEARD (girlbeheard.org) - a nonprofit theatre company, which empowers young women to tell their stories - has been awarded $20,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Stella Adler Studio of Acting Receives NEA Grant

Included in this announcement is an Art Works award of $35,000 approved for Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC)'s Citizen Folklife program. The Art Works category supports the creation of work and presentation of both new and existing work, lifelong learning in the arts, and public engagement with the arts through 13 arts disciplines or fields.

The Art Works category supports the creation of work and presentation of both new and existing work, lifelong learning in the arts, and public engagement with the arts through 13 arts disciplines or fields.

Westport Country Playhouse is recommended for a $25,000 grant to support its community engagement initiative, 'Money, Power and Belief: Reflections on 'The Invisible Hand',' which will run concurrently with the Playhouse production of 'The Invisible Hand,' by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Ayad Akhtar this summer.

NEA to Support Creative District Wilmington's 'VACANT TO VIBRANT' Project
